In cautarile mele online despre istoria cafelei, am dat peste lucrarea "All About Coffee" de William H. Ukers (1935, New York). E o carte lunga si cuprinzatoare. Vorbeste mult despre istoria cafelei, cultivare, elemente de botanica, comertul de atunci, precum si despre latura sociala si artistica a cafelei.
Nu pot face o recenzie (inca) pentru ca nu am terminat-o, dar pentru cei pasionati de istorie, cel putin, va fi cu siguranta o lectura savuroasa. Ca un espresso sau ..mai multe

Multumesc admin pt mutarea subiectului
Am mai adaugat si cartea lui Rao Scott, "The Professional Barista's Handbook~An Expert Guide to Preparing Espresso, Coffee, and Tea".
Este una dintre lecturile necesare obtinerii atestatului SCAE (intermediate). In listele propuse de SCAE se regasesc titluri f interesante, dar si f greu de gasit (online...
).
Ma gandesc ca am putea da share in acest topic si altor carti. Poate cafegiii mai experimentati ne pot face ceva recomandari. M-as bucura mult.
