Totusi dupa prezentarea video mai recenta imi dau seama ca cei care sustin ca 58mm este cea mai buna alegere si pentru acasa au categoric dreptate. Spre deosebire de 51mm sau 53mm, pentru 58mm se gasesc adaptoare la 49mm

The difference in taste given by the different profiles of the baskets was noticed long before Lance, John Weiss in 2014 summarized as follows :
"Comparison tasting between the BDB and S1 generally resulted in small but discernible differences in the cup. This may be attributed to basket size (58mm vs. 53mm) and shape differences. In general, the BDB extractions showed slightly more sweetness, clarity, and separation of flavors than the S1 pours. The S1 extractions were thicker, richer, with better mouthfeel. Neither was demonstrably superior. Both machines clearly highlighted the varietal characteristics of the coffee."

Ma amuzat remarca unuia de pe coffeetime, incerca sa obtina un raspuns transant daca sitele de 49 sunt mai bune decat cele de 58, dupa ce a vizionat videoclipul lui Lance Hedrick:
"The interesting thing about most of the replies here is that most participants seem incapable of discussing the subject because they are so distracted by their dislike of Mr. Hedrick."
