For light roasts and bi-modal/espresso burrs (Mahlkonig E65S) I used h30mm basket for 18g coffee (pre-infusion 4g/s for 14s). But going to Lagom P-64 (unimodal/brew SSP burrs) I have to change the basket for h32mm even for 18g coffee (up to 20g) because of more fluffy regrind with less fines.
Should be 1.6A. I've downloaded it yet, but the file is corrupted and can't be uncompressed. However, I've got the new fw from one german member but haven't installed it yet (I'm not in a hurry). I was told timer bug was resolved.
OK, some off-topic.
This is quoted from my reply to similar question of two H-B members to compare P64 vs. E65S, hence a bit more complex:
"...
1/ Appearance
E65S. Despite P64 is made very well (really no complains to mechanical workmanship, except of not so aesthetical scale), E65S looks better, it's bigger, more robust, solid, heavier, fuller sound (
![[Image: icon_smile.gif]](https://www.home-barista.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
), build to last forever.
2/ Workflow
E65S. You can grind faster, workflow is easier, no weighing of each dose, no RDT is required (there is a lot of statics in P64 w/o RDT and few moistened coffee beans sometimes sticks to cup walls or P64 grinder deflector and must be removed with fingers). Once the E65S is dialed well (timer), the grinding takes less than 4s. E65S dust catch tray is also perfect, I use ca. 2" brush to sweep coffee dust from countertop (if any) to dust catch tray and throw to the waste. PF holder is better in E65S too.
3/ Grinding.
Just a note: P64 grind (unimodal) is definitelly more fluffy, sometimes requires deeper basket than E65S.
4/ Taste.
P64, as far as we have tested with Gardelli Ethiopia Basha Bekele, Kenya Kamwangi and Mabó Rwanda and Kenya coffees (all light roasts). My wife and me preffered a bit more P64 to E65S, but the difference is subtle (a little bit less acidity and bitterness, more rounded taste, but less body and less crema). Score in blind testing of my wife (she never knew, which coffee was from which grinder) was ca. 12:2 in favour of P64, my score 14:0 or 13:1 (but I knew, which coffee is which).
5/ Retention.
P64, no doubt. Big advantage in case you swap the coffee frequently.
6/ Sales value.
E65S, I'm pretty sure."
Note: All above information is related to:
- light roasts only (Gardelli, Mabó (have you heard about such roaster :D ?), ...), I do not drink medium nor dark roasted coffee;
- P64 with brew/unimodal burrs by SSP for Lagom (i.e. not exactly the same, like SSP unimodal for Mazzer);
- E65S with standard espresso/bi-modal burrs (K30).
If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Really bad experience.
I will probably try again in the next days.
For me it worked all the times (twice) w/o any problems.
